Delivery, Returns and Refund Policy

  1. Modern Interior Hardware deliveries are strictly door-to-door.
  2. Sales consultant to pre-arrange this or request a quotation for additional labour should the truck have to park more than 15m of where the stock will be stored.
  3. Please note that our driver has been instructed not to remove material from their crates and/or carry them upstairs.
  4. Delivery fees are calculated based on dimensions, weight, and distance.
  5. Modern Interior Hardware reserves the right to amend these rates at any time.
  6. Modern Interior Hardware will store goods up to a maximum of one (1) month, from initial payment date, thereafter, Bella Bathrooms & Tiles reserves the right to charge a storage fee.
  7. Modern Interior Hardware will make every attempt to deliver goods on schedule but cannot accept liability in the event of a delayed delivery.
  8. It is the customer’s responsibility to order goods in advance according to the requirements to avoid delays on site, our standard lead time is 7–10 working days, subject to availability with our suppliers and importers.
  9. Modern Interior Hardware makes reasonable efforts to monitor stock levels and transport delays with its suppliers, however, cannot guarantee availability of stock.
  10. Special order items cannot be changed, returned, or cancelled. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm with your sales consultant what are special order items and what their individual lead times are prior to placing your order.

Returns and Refund

  1. Goods will only be accepted for credit if the following conditions are met:
  2. All returns are subject to a minimum 15% handling fee.
  3. The returns are pre-arranged with Bella Bathrooms & Tiles prior to returning the items.
  4. The product is in its original packaging and the packaging is not damaged or marked.
  5. The product is in a saleable condition and is complete.
  6. The product is not a special-order item.
  7. It is within a 15-day period from delivery/collection date.
  8. The batch is still in stock or valid.
  9. Refund payments will take up to 10 working days to be processed.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Quotations are valid for 14 days. All orders require a 50% deposit and balance of payment upon goods being ready for delivery.
  2. Modern Interior Hardware has the right to change the quotation prices and submit a new revision.
  3. Ownership of all goods remains the possession of Modern Interior Hardware, until the purchase price has been paid in full.
  4. PLEASE NOTE: There will be a 10% restocking fee on all local brands and an 80% restocking fee on all imported brands.
  5. No claims for shortages will be accepted if the delivery note is not signed by the receiver. No claims for broken items will be accepted if Modern Interior Hardware is not notified within 72 hours of receipt of the goods.
  6. Delivery notes/invoices will not be held liable for defects, damages, shortages, or discrepancies unless endorsed on the delivery note or invoice.
  7. It is the customer responsibility to check compatibility of all items that are in correct size, specification, and material for intended application. Modern Interior will not accept liability for incorrectly supplied goods.

Warranty Procedure

  1. All our products come with 12-month manufacturer warranty.
  2. After filing a warranty claim, the faulty parts will either be repaired or replaced, depending on our evaluation. We reserve the right to replace defective parts with parts of equal or greater value.
  3. If you file a warranty claim after a product becomes obsolete or is discontinued, Modern Interior Hardware will replace the defective component with a replacement part of a similar style based on availability at the time of claim.
  4. All warranties are carried by the manufacturers. Modern Interior Hardware does not accept liability for products directly.
  5. If the goods are not installed by a registered or qualified installer, all warranties and guarantees are nullified.
  6. Modern Interior Hardware is not responsible for the correct installation of goods purchased.
